First Minister of Scotland Dedicates Plaque Honoring Jewish People in Usher Hall

At the closing concert of the 2017 Edinburgh International Festival, over 100 people including the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, the Council Leader of the City of Edinburgh Council, His Excellency the Ambassador of Austria, the Director of the Edinburgh International Festivals attended a reception that witnessed the leader of the Scottish government unveiling a plaque in honour of the two Jewish artists who founded the Edinburgh International Festival in 1947 and the two hundredth anniversary of the Jewish people in Edinburgh. The plaque is located just outside the Royal Box in Edinburgh's main concert hall.
